My name is Austin Dunn and I currently live in Dallas/Fort Worth, Texas.
At 36 years old now I've always had a passion for photography. Starting out being the "family" photographer at a early age while going on trips with my parents taught me the importance of capturing the moment. The first camera my Dad gave me was a No. 3 Autographic Kodak a 54 year old camera at that time (1979).
I continued on taking pictures straight through school as the photographer for the school year book. Since then I've gone to college taking classes that would further help me with my photography.
I quickly realized the beauty of wedding photography during my own wedding watching our photographer and taking notes that would later help me on my first wedding which I did for a friend in Kauai. You can see some of my first wedding pictures in my portfolio.

Oh where to start. When I'm not working on photography related subjects I spend most of my time dealing with my other job working in the aerospace field. The rest of my time is spent with my wife Jackie and our 4 dogs {Snuffles , Stitch (our new rescue furry kid) ***Feynman*** all Corgis and ***Heidi*** a Bernese Mountain Dog} and our two cats Smokey Bear and Hubble. I enjoy reading, biking, hiking, chocolate milk and stargazing with my wife. The love of my life Jackie, graduated from TCU with her Ph.D in Astrophysics, and is now working as an assistant professor teaching astronomy and physics courses at MWSU.
****UPDATE****: Feynman crossed over the rainbow bridge 10/18/08 after a sudden but courageous fight with Mediastinal lymphoma one of the rarest and poorest prognosis lymphoma's a furry kid could get. I loved my furry kid more than life itself and will miss his companionship for the rest of my life. Thank you Feynman for being truly man's best friend....I know you were mine. Heidi crossed over the rainbow bridge 04/18/09 after being diagnosed with malignant histiocytic neoplasia. Heidi was an AMAZING furry kid. She was my best friend and pretty much my soul mate. The loss of her was very unexpected and sudden. I will forever miss you my Heidi-whoo. You will always be my "biggie".

From my many travels I've realized the beauty of the world that GOD has created and have had a burning desire to somehow capture it so that I could share it with others that they too might see the world through my eyes. Thank you for stopping by and looking at my work.
